How sad. I really enjoyed him. I wish I had actually
met him.
Shocked, heartbroken, devestated -
saddened by the news.
Semper Fi buddy and I am truely
saddened that you are now EOW. As
you often said, others will just die, but I
will die a Marine. Rest in peace.
a true friend and gentleman, he will be dearly
missed. Rest in Peace brother...until we meet
again
...grieve not, nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me as if I were
beside you there...
when you think of him it should bring a
smile to us all as his humor was without
bounds. But still a sad smile it will be...
I am drinking a cup of coffee out of a
coffee cup Ron sent me a number of
years ago. He was a good cop and a great
person.
I had the fortune to meet Ron twice, once
in Oklahoma and again when he hosted
us on a tour of Vegas and Hoover dam.
Always gracious, always an old school
gentleman, a firearm enthusiast and
always a ferocious patriot. I'll miss his
posts, his humor and I'll miss the chance
to visit him again in Las Vegas.
I was in Vegas for a few days and met
Ron. We had lunch and talked a bit. He
was a really great guy. Ron was only
three years older than me. While I only
met him once in person, like I said, we
had chatted for years. Ron was my
friend and brother. I am extremely
saddened at his passing.
If I could turn back time I'd love to have one
more conversation with Ron and ask him to
take care of himself and thanks for the Badges
friendship.
